Aftermarket Blinkers

Today I started installing my front blinkers. A few issues:

1- i probably connected the wrong wires to one another - the blinkers lit up but didn't blink. I now find out that the red wire i used is for the running light - which these blinkers do not have.

2- while connecting the wires I touched the wires together - now the blinkers do not light at all - i assume i blew a fuse

Can anyone tell me what color wires i connect together and where and how i find and change the fuse?

Thanks

This is why you're supposed to disconnect the negative terminal on the battery before doing any sort of electrical work. Hopefully for your sake, you popped a fuse and not the relay. There are two fuse boxes, both together... you'll need to remove the rider seat, passenger seat, and center cover (the plastic piece between the seats).

68 and 69 are Left. 66 and 67 are Right. 67 and 69 are Front. 66 and 68 are Rear. Black is obviously the ground, and you'll notice that the rear lights are missing the running light wire.
