Greetings. I've been hanging on the FZ-09 forum for six months. While I was waiting for spring and the 09 to arrive in Alaska, I discovered the MT-07. I decided to hold off on the hopes that Yamaha would bring it to the states as the FZ-07. (it's just more practical for me than the FZ-09)

The wait has paid off. Our dealer is supposed to get his first order in a week or two. I will go give it a test out, and plan on picking one up. I'm only torn as to which color. I want to see them in person. He said he is getting one of each color.

Hello Willow....seems like we've met before! We are getting an FZ07 at our house too. My wife Peggy is going to sell her CBR 600RR and get a Red one. It's on order and hopefully will be along shortly.

I caught the subtle name change Vern for one less cylinder. Clever. It's weird how much faster our dealer is getting the 07 than he did the 09. Something tells me this U.S. release was planned, and in the works all along.

I would have to agree.....they are starting to show up everywhere in the states......except my dealer....so far!
