I went to my dealer in April with the recall paper he said he would order me the cable and call me??
every month I go in there it the same story nope cables still on back ordered.
is everyone waiting like me?

My parts came in just as fast as any other Yamaha parts order.

If I were you, I'd ask for a second opinion within that dealership.

Nope, my dealer told me they had the amount of cables totaling the amount of bikes they sold, with a few extras in case someone showed up that didn't buy the bike from them. Sounds like you need to go to a different dealer.

Time for a new cable.........from a NEW DEALER! Sorry to say, but they've been jacking you around for several months.

The parts kit required to do this work are sitting in all three of the parts warehouses that USA Yamaha dealers get their parts from.

That is an item the dealer should be able to get in 3 or 4 days, tops. Installation time should take approx. 1/2 hour. The choice is yours. Personally, I'd tell the dealer to pound sand!
