I had one for my VStrom 650 and it was top notch. Great quality, and fantastic for touring because of the security, and space.
I opted to go with a Kriega tail bag for the FZ (at least for now), because it requires no rack, or extra hardware, and fits the naked look much better.
I have a 40 Shad for overnight trips. Around town I am using a 29 Shad the 29 will use the 40 mount plate but not the other way around. My thoughts are to get a 26 Shad and put the 29 on my Yamaha S Max. It took me a while to get used to the look of the hard box. After I do a sport windshield it will look better, I think. But I do like the use and room of the hard box
