So I am planning to change the stock exhaust and contacted my Yamaha dealer to see if they can install it. I am told if I change it I need to add a PCV and a different air filter.

Did any of you who did the changeover have to do this?

Other than the obvious reason why would they tell me I need to make these additions?

The addition of a PCV depends on the exhaust. Which are you looking to install?

I am looking at the Delkevic system. I just do not want to spend $1,000. I saw and heard this system on this site and I liked it.

Is this a simple instillation and do i need a PCV and different air filter?
