Does anyone have a fender eliminator and also has saddlebags? I just received my Yoshimura fender eliminator and really like it. My concern is, I eventually may get saddlebags for some long distance travel, and feel that the blinkers may get in the way. I plan on using the factory blinker for best visibility.

Hi Jeff,

I am not speaking for every saddlebag set-up, but the blinkers would not get in the way of Hepco & Becker carriers.

This being said, however, the visibility of the blinkers would be greatly diminished, as once the saddlebags would be mounted, the view of them from the side would be partial, at best. Not much change from the back, however.

I've been wanting to get bags, but IMHO blinkers during the day are hard to see. Drivers may not see them even if you have them on. I can see visibility at night an issue but it depends if you ride at night. I have led strips on my bike for turn signals. Maybe that's an option for you.

Yeah, at night was what I was thinking most about, I suppose.

Regardless, I don't think I'd recommend using side cases with the fender eliminator.
