By Sept it was getting pretty well sorted, just needing a rear shock which came a few months later.

Thank goodness I found this thread. Been trying to track you down for a while but couldn't remember where I saw your bike.

I'd like to know what wheels you used - from what bike, and did you have to do anything to modify them, the axles, hubs, or bearings.

I'm looking into to a set of wheels by Marchesini and of course they don't make them for the FZ-07. I thought the R6 wheels would work but had a chance to try them in person and the hubs are bigger on the R6 and they won't work either. I figured, if the wheels you used where a direct fit, and Marchesini makes wheels for the donor bike you used, I could just get them and all would be good.

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Sir!

Marvic wheels from a 2000 GSXR 750 used to own.

Had to do spacers, a disk carrier ( made from a old sprocket ) and back cut the caliper holder

to fit since hub was wider.
