I had intended to do just that. The reason for it taking so long is twofold: They had to order the wheel to replace the gouged one, and the plastic piece that was marred due to the bars being too far back. That was good, because I really wanted the '07, so I took my trials bike over to him as he expressed a desire to ride one, but I had to get the carb rebuilt. It now runs like a clock, but after a couple of 10 minute rides, he decided that even IT had too much power and he could not get comfy standing to ride. So now i have to sell it, as riding a trials bike is one of the few things my surgeon doesn't want me to do.
Anyway, my plan was to sell my 1200S Bandit, sell him the trials bike, and I would buy the "07 for my girlfriend (and me, too). So I've had no luck on Craigslist with the Bandit, and he just told me Saturday that he doesn't want the Scorpa. I can't justify another bike, as It would bruise what little savings I've got.
So somebody will get a whale of a deal.
