Anyone have a suggestion or luck with a bike mount location for a gopro?

I get that a lot of guys do helmet mount, but sometimes im looking for a different view.

As for viewing vids, my fav angle is from the tank looking forward through windshield with gauges clearly displayed. Would that mean tank mount?....
Gonna do some vids myself next season.

Yeah that is what I lean to as well. Working on a a way to avoid using an adhesive mount though.

I think a low angle looking forward might be cool as well. Maybe even a gimbal mount. I've got access to a machine shop so I may work up something out of delrin or similar.

I made I mount for mine. Just some steel plate with a couple bends and some holes drilled in it.

Is that painted, powder coated or raw?

Any issues with bounce in the video? Or is the steel stiff enough?

Getting closer to my vision of a side mount gimbal/steady cam.

Its not on a gimbal yet, but the structure is in place.

I don't have a youtube account, so here are some stills (doesn't do it justice).

Low placement give a warp speed effect on the video. Shock action during accel/decel looks good too IMHO.

It's pretty thick steel, no issues with bounce. It's just painted, I'm too cheap to go get it powder coated.
