My dealer has not yet received the FZ-07. I have seen a bunch of photos on the Internet, and several show the graphite colored bike with blue rims, and a blue frame. I've seen other photos where the rims appear black. I'm guessing those may in fact be MT-07 photos. Does anyone know for sure on the US FZ-07 colors?

I've seen one at my local dealer, the wheels and frame are the same color with the frame having the same almost flat finish as the wheels. I do love the color, however the frame painted the same color is just too much for my taste. It would have been better if they would have just painted the wheels only and left the frame a flat black. It was my first color choice initially but that frame kept getting in the way, so I opted for the rapid red because of the black wheel to black frame transition. Just check out the pics at Ridenow Tucson (google search) they have some close up shots of it, not trying to promote them just suggesting them because of their pics.

Thanks. I also thought the blue frame might be a bit much.

I got an email from
My dealer today. He got his first one but neglected to tell me the color.

I'm out at my cabin so I can't get in there for a couple days. I told him my preference is red, white, then gray.

Is the red the same as the 09? The only 09s they got were
Graphite or orange.

I'm excited to check one out. I'm pretty sure the 07 is my next ride. I paid $4.17 a gallon today. I need to get back on two wheels.

From what Yamaha labels them as Rapid Red, same as the 09. Seeing my buddy's 09 Rapid Red up close in the sun, wow it has such a brilliant deep pearl metallic up close. I think that's what sold me on it besides the black on black.

I like that the 07 only has the red on the upper portion just enough, while the fenders retain black matte finish. The 07 to me has better use of overall color ratio use than the 09. Seeing this bike in person really made me appreciate this bike even more and have thought just like you Willow that this bike is more fitting for the occasion.

I have the graphite too, but it's Canadian, and has a black frame and wheels. I chose it because it was the only one on the shop floor - I really wanted white and wasn't that keen on the gray. After two days with it though it has grown on me so much i would choose it over the other 2 options.
I think we were meant to be together. :)

View attachment 247 I love the graphite with the blue frame and rims, was the only one I wanted. Had to wait s week to get it but wouldn't have it any other way.
I was the same way! My dealer couldn't find one so I called out of my area and found a dealer that was building their first one. I immediately reserved it:)
Happy girl!!
