Has anyone upgraded the stock headlight? New bulb, HID, LED, etc?

I do know that dennis kirk sells high output bulbs.....

I know they make LED and HID replacements that get somewhat mixed reviews, but, to be honest, the stock bulb seems very bright, so I would not even consider an LED or HID bulb.
I might go with a brighter H4 and there are plenty of options. No hassle, work great.

Any bulb recommendations? I'm looking for a little brighter and whiter.

There are quite a few options from (PIAA, Hella, Philips, Sylvania).
