A little about me is that I am from New Mexico and have lived all over the place. I have spent time in FL, AZ, NM, TX, Toronto, and now back in TX. I have been into cars and motors for years and years. I have a WRX that has been retired from daily driving use, and a Triumph Bonneville that has taken over those duties. And now Yamaha announces another moto that I think I have to have.

I come from a long history of restaurant experience, including opening 3 BBQ restaurants. When I lived in Florida, I worked on a boat, so I was on the water almost everyday. It was glorious. I have known the guys from FF for years as well, and consider them some of my best friends. If you have any questions, please let me know, and I hope to be a valuable addition to the site.

Greetings everyone. I've been hanging on the "09" forum for 6 months. Since the bike didn't arrive in Alaska until the snow flew, I had all winter to wait.

During that time, I saw the mt07 release in Europe. It looked like more of what I was looking for to replace my ancient Honda CB750. I held off and crossed my fingers.

Glad I waited. Yamaha finally delivered. I'm out of town but hope to get back soon to get on the list. None here yet.
