Hi I'm new to this site and the fz but not new to riding I've had several liter bikes few enduros and a couple cruisers plus tins of dirt bikes. I must say the fz is the funnest little bike I have ever bought. This thing pulls hard on the low end and is super aggressive in and outta turns. Front end is super light for fun little wheelies and all and round just fun. I'm gonna have to mod the exhaust and do a fender eliminator but as far as the rest we will see what I do to the bike!!!

Ok so i did it i made the commitment to butcher the stock exhaust yesterday. I've got some video of the sound on it. i went a little different then the video that was posted. I chopped my exhaust about 2 inches behind the O2 sensor. after i chopped it off and ground it smooth i took my analog calipers and micd the outside of the pipe. Then i was off to the auto parts store. Keep in mind any and all reading this that i did this exhaust for less than 100 bucks. I found a adaptor that met my measurement needs, I then found me a piece that was bent in somewhat of swopping 45. and then i found a reducer for the end of the swopping pipe just in case. I Got it all home kinda scratched my head on it a bit. then i decided to do something i hadn't seen yet. SOOOO i routed my pipe out the opposite side of the bike. turned out looking really clean.
