hey riderz,

Recently I bought aftermarket brake and clutch levers for my fz07; Rode to and from work that day and they felt amazing. My bike sat the next day and I tried to ride that afternoon and it felt slightly stiff at first. About 0.1 miles down the road front brake completely locked up and the brake lever had no give. Someone was nice enough to stop, and had a flathead screw driver so I loosened up the screw holding the brake lever in place and my brakes magically disengaged.....So when I installed these levers I didn't use lithium grease which peoplerecommend, I just threw the bad boys on. (First bike, first modification, I'm still learning). Any ideas or suggestions as to what might be going on?!

They look like the MZS levers from Amazon. The barrel that engages the pin on the master cylinder is poorly machined and leaves the master cylinder pressurized after you release the lever. Buy CRG levers ; You get what you pay for.
