So ive recently got a 2016 mt07 and the guy at the dealership said that they now restrict via the ecu which im guessing is changing the mapping, but im going to be getting a new exhaust (sc project) and ive been reading online and people are saying that if you get a new exhaust its recommended to get a dynojet power commander (or something similar) to change the mapping so the air/fuel mixture is right with the new exhaust, so what im wondering is if i do get a power commander and change the mapping will it cancel out the restriction on it cause i dont want to delete the restriction and get caught and my bike took of me for the sake of a new exhaust but if i can get a new exhaust and change the mapping without altering the restriction that would be great
