I have my suspicions that my speedo is reading higher than actual speed, at some point I will have to have a buddy in a chase car to compare (probably using a GPS). Just curious if anyone else has had actual confirmation of an incorrect speedo and was there are repair for it??

Most every speedo is somewhat off from the factory, and usually optimistically. I've used GPS to establish the degree, and adapted that info for future use. There are some devices out there that can correct for it, but I've never tried one. Google "Speedo Healer"....I think that will find the device for you.
