Niggles?

I'm not a niggler by trade, but after putting a total of about 8 miles on my bike since I bought it today I have a couple.

1) They couldn't have extend the little dirt guard over the rear tire a little more to keep crud off the shock?

The one on the FZ-09 extends another 4 or 5 inches, enough to do the job.

2) Turn signal activator is small and not scalloped to fit your thumb like it is on most every other bike.

picky picky, just get on your bike and enjoy the hell out of it. :)
My screen name should have been Picky McNigglesAlot..........or maybe Jack Niggleson

More gripes, why did the MT models come with smaller clear turn signal lenses but FZ's have big ugly amber ones?

Now I have to spend cash to change lens and bulbs.
Picky McNigglesAlot, leave everything alone, just get on your bike and enjoy the hell out of it. lmao
You bought a fairly cheap, starter bike. Don't expect luxury. There are sacrifices that are going to be made to bring the price down. Also, it benefits them to continue using parts that they already are manufacturing or have contracts for... so if there's something different between models, it's usually for a reason.

For example:

European rules vs USDOT rules.

USDOT rules are very archaic. Especially when dealing with cars.
