Hey Guys,
Just thought I would post a couple of pics of my 2016 transformation, four coats of flat black followed by four coats of blue sapphire pearl, I'm going to let it cure for a few days before I assemble it and will post completed pics when I do. Love to hear some comments.

looks great! how durable is it?
Hey Matt, I'm a little disappointed in the durability, it seems to scratch quite easily but that's probably due to the pearl coat which is quite a light thin colour but the good thing is that at the end of the season I might just peel it off and go with a new colour for next year. I do like that it's the only one out there and from a distance...2-3 feet it looks sick! .

Finished product, since then I've added and Led Headlight, Ermax front windshield, handle bar mirrors/sliders, T-Rex racing frame sliders, tail bag and have shorty levers on order. Next is an M4 exhaust (working on the wife's approval) *whipping sound*

Update!!

Just pulled all the plasti dip off the bike...it's back to black, it was just not durable...I've put 2000 Kms on since I did it and it looked scuffed and was peeling in certain contact places. It did however come off very easy, my kids had a ball doing it.

I have something else in the works so stay tuned!!

I have not personally done it but when you finish applying the plastidip they make a protector spray that is suppose to just spray on and provide a smoother feel and help with abrasion. I'm gonna try a pearl white possibly this winter to mix things up a bit.
