I have a friend with it, and it is not the "most quiet" helmet out there as it does not have the chin and neck curtains like many of the Arai helmets do, and also, it has the visor that is not removable, so that kicks up a bit of wind noise as well. He said that it is not unbearable though, and really likes it.

I've got a new HJC RPHA-10 coming tomorrow. I'm currently wearing the older version..HJC RPS-10 Ben Spies replica and that one will become my ST1300 helmet fitted with an Autocom intercom system.

I'm considering the GMax 54s, modular, built-in sun visor and red LED lights on the back. With optional kit, they can synch with your brake lights.

The red (with black and white) one that matches my bike is a HJC PIM. I have 5 other full-face helmets...2white, 1Suzuki team colors, 2 black Scorpians. Some should probably be replaced. As they get a little loose, I relegate them to winter time where I wear a hoodie under them to take up the slack. Keeps my head and neck warm and makes the old helmet fit snug too while reducing noise. Maybe not ideal.

next week when I get time im going to buy a gm54s in black, my dealer only has gmax and icon. I got my hi-vis jacket so black helmet should be fine. everyone need a hi-vis jacket they really work.

I like that jacket .. wish mine was not grey/black. I ordered the helmet last night. Any idea how they run on size? I'm hoping it fits, but won't be surprised if I need to bump it up one size. I could not find a dealership that stocks them around here.

Yes, it's a built-in LED, 3 modes, slow flash, fast flash or on all the time. You can buy a kit ($28) that will allow you to synch it with your brake lights. Sounds cool, but not sure I want to do that. Figured the LED would be a nice visibility benefit.
