So I've run across a few threads and some videos about mounting new turn signals on the FZ-07. I just ordered a fender eliminator and my next order of business is going to be the turn signals. I've seen plenty of choices on a few sights but the main thing I've seen is fitting them to that large sort of oval opening in the front. I was wondering what sort of solutions were available as far as covers go to get the opening covered so it looks pretty much factory. Also I was curious about opinions on the best looking style of turn signals as I'm still debating that as well. any help is appreciated. thanks.

oh little bit about the bike. It's a white 2015 FZ-07 about 1500 miles on it. put a yoshimura exhaust on it about 750 miles ago and absolutely love it.

If I wanted curves I would have bought a Suzuki Gladius instead of the FZ-07. Not too small, not too big, have sharp angles, running front lights function, I can't ask for more. As far as the fitting, removing the stock lights shows 2 holes... i just use the small ones and have the big ones there as... um... ventilation hahah

the only time the signal light are on is when your turning right? so when there off theres no light but the big orange melons are still visible... my 1 cent

It's hard to find aftermarket signals that are wired to run also as running lights as the stock 07 signals are.

Signals wired for running lights have 3 wires instead of just 2.

Or you can buy an adapter from 12 0'clock labs for $30 that makes your existing signals act also as running lights, works for front or rear.

Have 2016 fz07 mine don't act as running lights. Anybody from Maryland? Wondering what the law is about integrated tail lights
Any Japanese bike I've ever owned had the front turn signals act as running lights. The rears are only turn signals though. I rode out to Albuquerque to see a friend several years ago and he had non-OEM signals that were so darned small that I couldn't tell when they were on or not and I had a hell of a time trying to follow him in a town where I didn't know where anything was. It's my aim to let everyone behind or in front of me know my intention whether its to turn or brake. It's a common courtesy in my opinion and I get really frosted when someone is coming toward me meaning to turn but doesn't use their signals and I miss out on an opportunity to get out into traffic.
