Hi everyone. I was told at the dealer that the DC connector under the passenger seat was for a battery tender. I have discovered that it is not the standard connector for that though. Does anyone know what that connection is for? I know there's a second connector under there that I'm told is for diagnostics. I'll be wiring up to the Aux Connector under the left cover soon, but just wanted to know what that one in the rear is for. Thanks for any help.

The connector under the rear seat is for the Yamaha Diagnostic tool to plug into. It's for reading error codes. The connector under the left side tank plastic cover is for accessories to plug into.

There is a fused 12VDC accessory connector under the plastics. It is switched power.

I have two connectors under the pylon seat. A bigger one I do believe is the Diagnostics one, and another that clearly has a red and black wire going to it.
