Its time for a new helmet and I kind of like the new dual purpose style with visor as it seems to match the naked bike style. Just wondering what you guys are rocking...

Yea I think i am leaning now more towards the traditional style.. After some friends brought up the point of wind resistance at higher speeds..

Now I am looking for ones that I can hook up bluetooth with...

You can hook up a Bluetooth system with pretty much any helmet. Sena makes some top notch systems. I just ordered the dual SMH10R set, but I would recommend getting the 20S.

I've been trying to decided between both of the Icon Ghost helmets you posted, as well. I love the look of the Variant, especially with a mirror gold lens, but I also lean more towards the Airframe because of the smooth front piece (better for chin mounting a GoPro) and that same highway speed air resistance "problem". I know a lot of people talk bad about Dual Sport style helmets because of wind resistance, but I also know that there are a few popular guys on YouTube that use the Variant and swear by it (LeadPin & Chaseontwowheels come instantly to mind). I'm curious as to how many people talk bad about them, but actually have no experience with them.

EDIT: Also, this... I remember watching this before. Guy with the same question and worry about dual sport style helmets.

Hi guys, i want to add something to my review. After a couple months, this helmet has become my favorite one. You get used to the air drag from the visor... even at high speed! I love it now. So much air during hot days !! I only wear my shoei quest when its cold because its more sealed. Also the visor is a must to protect from the sun!
Other than that, the variant is AWSOME !!!

Hmmm that is an interesting review with him adding later on that he now loves it after getting use to it..

Only thing I could think of which would be different for us FZ07 guys is we don't have any protection at all compared to this guys bike which has the bigger built in windscreen.
