What sort of aftermarket exhaust are you going to be running on your FZ07?

Akrapovic?
Two Bros?
Yoshimura?
Gaves?

Post it up and lets see who is running what. Don't forget to post videos...

Only owned the bike for a day, and it may be a sign i'm turning into an old git but I think i'm going to stay stock (first bike in a long while i've done that). The 7 sounds pretty weedy at idle but once underway I think the exhaust sounds great. Lovely deep thump-thump. Sounds great when blipped at traffic lights too!

I am turning into an old git aren't I? :(

Im a 21 year old and honestly i think it sounds perfect as is. i may invest in the akropovic later on but all it would do is reduce back pressure and drop the weight by maybe 5 at the most 10 lbs. (I saw a video saying there about a 5kg difference) All it did was make it deeper from the larger hole.

The local dealer who is good at replacing exhausts sells Leo Vince. To me, all the big-name exhausts sound really loud, but that's OK. I just don't want to have to deal with a power commander or run into any problems making changes just for the sake of a louder sound. I'll probably stay stock too.

They wont be available in US stores till august some time. if we're lucky. but i believe there are Europeans with the akrapovic exhaust but the cost of shipping an entire exhaust from europe mixed with the cost of things in europe would make it a $1400+ exhaust. either way relax man, it wont be here for a few weeks anyways. The bike is so new that Yamaha hasnt even prices the plastic tank covers, front fork main tubes, rear plastic bits, or passenger foot pegs. The bike has been out in the US since late June. give them some time to make sure the upgrades you want are actually worth it.

why would anyone spend over $1000 on a exhaust pipe to add 2.5 extra hp??????????
looking for more hp buy the 09.
For the sound and beside 2.5 horse on a motorcycle is like adding 10 horse on a car. Our bike is only 400 lbs
The 09 is nice bike but insurance cost twice as high lol
Trust me 2.5 horse plus a power commander plus a kn&n filter you looking at about almost 10+ hp gain and even more mpg

I'm waiting on the Yoshi slip on. I like Yoshi's usually because they're quite a bit more throaty/loud/better sounding than the stock, but not too loud. I should care about hp, weight, ect, but I don't, I just do it for the sound. I also do a slip on due to cost. Just gotta wait.
