That's strange. Maybe there is something else going on...perhaps with the stalling issue reported earlier, cause the battery terminal issue should be a quick fix provided Yamaha has sent out the fix to dealers. Actually, if they are addressing the stalling issue, that too should be a quick fix, but they have to have the software first. Could be they have decided to get the software available first, then do a large recall as well as fix any bikes before they go out. That exact thing occurred with my Zero S last year...stopping sales, then issuing a recall on owned bikes to download new software...firmware they called it. That's just a guess.
