I'm heavy, bike light, three years riding, and 30 years old. I like where my skin is right now and ill try to keep it there.

Keep posting the vids of you guys doing wheelies though. they are RAD!

I think it's best to learn how to wheelie on a dirt bike. Then if you drop the bike it's no big deal. Once you master wheelies on dirt bike then the fz07 would be no problem.

Of course I don't have a dirt bike so no wheelies for me. I don't wanna be in someone's fail video :)

I pulled a wheeling coming off the freeway yesterday trying to get up to speed in traffic. I wasn't even trying. I been pretty easy on her since I picked it up last month.

It is easy to do just by turn the throttle.

Howdy y'all from south Texas, I am new hear and thought i would chime in on the wheelie discussion. The FZ is a wheelie machine in 2nd 3rd and even 4th, however 4th little more difficult body position and brake coverage very important. I pull mine up in 2nd and 3rd not every time but on occasion when I'm kicking it around town. I will say this if you are a newer rider or you are experienced but want to try wheeling there are a few things you should learn first 1. your not gonna be doing 12 oclocks or half mile wheelies the first try so don't dump the clutch or slam the throttle all the way, 2. get comfortable covering the rear brake every time you pull the front wheel off the ground this will save you and the bike from hitting the pavement. 3. 8 and 9000 rpm to pull it up is really really high i do mine in the 3 to 4000 rpm range clutch it up and chase it out. Clutching this bike is super simple it wants to come up the front end is super light. 4. once you get used to pulling it up have fun!!!!

Had this bike for a week. So fun and easy. Cranked the throttle in first and the front wheel came right up! Waiting for my crash cages to really get on it.

Easiest way to learn on this bike is in 2nd gear. Bring it up to about 4-5k rpm roll off the gas, once the forks compress twist the throttle quick and hold on the front end will pop up very smooth. Start slow and don't slam it right away. And keep that foot on the back brake just in case.

This bike will easily get to balance point in second gear on power alone with plenty on rpm left for any adjustments. Even with that being the case I highly recommend learning clutch ups if you plan on doing them often. One of the best bikes for wheelies that I've ridden, almost as good as a supermoto

I'm not good at them at all but this bike really feel like it really front wheel light lol. it feel like it keep trying to come up specially on 1st gear its kind of scary sometime how it pull.
You will have no problem bringing the front up in 2nd gear, going 25mph. I do ot all the time. Im not great at wheelies but i can almost go an entire block now. I dont like popping the clutch, and yes, 1st gear is svary as hell since im not that good at brake control yet.
