Were`d those forks come from? and how do they work out for you?
I just received my new Penski rear shock. Its very very sweet. I got the Dual adjust (rebound and high speed compression). Recommended the Penski.
Front end is from a Ducati 1098 S.
Bought through Ebay for $ 1000.

I just finished the machine work for the extended caps that will

fill in the hole at the top tree.

Top tree has 2 ends stacked, welded and machined to bring the forks down to OEM Yamaha level.

Specs on the Ohlins in this translated Japanese page
Google Translate

Shock overall length 312mm
stroke 61mm
spring rate 115N/mm
spring length 170mm
standard preload 14mm
rebound adjustment 40 stage
Pretty close to what I ended up with.

I weigh 230 Lbs.

For whatever reason , the FZ 07 takes a heavier spring than my FZ 09.

I have a 105 on the rear of my FZ 09 / GSXR 1000 Ohlins rear shock.

The FZ 07 / R-6 Penske on my FZ 07, now has a 115 spring.

Noticeable improvement in handling even after already having an Ohlins front a few months earlier.
