Were`d those forks come from? and how do they work out for you?
I just received my new Penski rear shock. Its very very sweet. I got the Dual adjust (rebound and high speed compression). Recommended the Penski.
Front end is from a Ducati 1098 S.
Bought through Ebay for $ 1000.

I just finished the machine work for the extended caps that will

fill in the hole at the top tree.

Top tree has 2 ends stacked, welded and machined to bring the forks down to OEM Yamaha level.

hey guys which penske shock fits for the rear shock? and if im choosing between 8900 (single adjustable) and 8975 (double adjustable) what should i consider?

I do all street riding, with very little "hardcore" twists or anything, although I will do canyon runs every now and again for fun.

Specs on the Ohlins in this translated Japanese page
Google Translate

Shock overall length 312mm
stroke 61mm
spring rate 115N/mm
spring length 170mm
standard preload 14mm
rebound adjustment 40 stage
Pretty close to what I ended up with.

I weigh 230 Lbs.

For whatever reason , the FZ 07 takes a heavier spring than my FZ 09.

I have a 105 on the rear of my FZ 09 / GSXR 1000 Ohlins rear shock.

The FZ 07 / R-6 Penske on my FZ 07, now has a 115 spring.

Noticeable improvement in handling even after already having an Ohlins front a few months earlier.

I just got a Penske 8900E single adjust and have gone on a couple of test rides without making any adjustments yet. The shock really transforms the bike. It was already a fun bike but there is no more pogo effect if you hit a couple of dips just right. Only thing is, the Penske manual doesn't make it real clear how to adjust the shock. I see the burgundy rebound damping clicker but the ride height and spring preload adjustment seems unclear in the manual. The pictures in the manual don't match up to what I'm seeing on the shock. It's probably just me but I'll call them and learn what to do. There is two bolts, one silver and one black at the very bottom of the shock. I think one of those is the ride height adjustment and there is a tool that appears to be for the spring preload but no indicator marks or any way to know how you are adjusting it. I'm already very happy with the shock though. I think I can now get out on the track with it. I'm sort of ok with the stock forks but after I get on the track I can evaluate them more thoroughly.

I had a Nitron R1 single clicker on my 2014 Gladius and the only adjustment that I had to make after riding the bike for 50 miles or so was to reduce the spring preload 10mm and bump the damping up two clicks. The Nitron set up data was practically dead on.

I am really impressed with that fork. Did you have to order a custom mount (or machine one)? to wich extent do you really notice a difference with the original fork?

Thanks.
